Welcome to Animal Paradise Helnwein!

I, Monika and my husband Alex as our daughter Ana Marie (8 years old) are very, very big animal-lovers. We have cats, guinneypigs and an extraordinary loving Labradormixdog with name"Rudi". With endless animal love, we share our life with our animals and simply love them all the same way. Nobody here gets preferred and so we share our free time with our animals to play with them and to love them. Watching TV has already been out for a long time, we better watch our animals! We have decided to breed a very special race: The British Shorthair Silver Tabby Classic - The "Whiskascat"! This special race has become so famous because of the catfood company Whiskas, who decided to make commercials with this cat race. But you are not able to see the real beauty of this race on TV or on photos, because only when you see their movement you really can enjoy their bodypainting. A beast in black-silver with green eyes, an absolutely beauty. We try to reach best colour contrast. That means, the black is supposed to be very dark and the silver has to be very light and shiny with good distance.

The British Shorthair Sliver Tabby breeding is a very complicated one:

We not only have to look for a good bodybuild, character, type and coatquality, but also we have to take special care for the pattern and the colours. We also have to take care for the colour contrast - a shiny silver and a clear black, and we have to look for a very good green eye colour. To join all these components is very complicated, takes a lot of work, patience and ambition and thanks to some really good breeder catteries you can see the good result: a Silvertiger, who waits to be loved all over! And what´s the most important: The cat has to have a very good character. She is supposed to be very loveable and nice and not shy. All these characteristics we can only reach in these cats, when we plan and think in a good way.

At that point I want to say thanks to my very nice and helpful cat breeder friend: Wolfgang Schaffhauser, with whom we were able to start out cattery. And also a woman from whom we can only speak in the best way, because she actually called this race to life: Misses Maria Wellmeyer, a woman with lots of intelligence, love and persistence has build up that, what we call today one of the most beautiful cats on this planet: the British Shorthair Silver Tabby! And most thanks to my nicest cat breeder girlfriend: Edith Kristl who always helps me just with everything! And lots of thanks also to my cat breeder girlfriend in Germany: Misses Nicole Maß, who gave me a very special and beautiful cat for my cattery, which you cannot find here anywhere nearby.
